Do I have to remove the carrying board before placing the EuroTote in a car seat?
No, the EuroTote fits into convertible car seats with the carrying board and has been crash tested with and without the carrying board. The car seat harness straps are inserted through the openings on the back of the EuroTote and attached directly over baby.
Most people are used to carry bags over their shoulder and find the EuroTote to be surprisingly comfortable. You may also carry it as a cross-body sling style. The main advantage of the EuroTote is to transport a sleeping baby around – from the car, in and out of strollers, in to the grocery store, etc.. For longer walks, we recommend the líllébaby Nordic or EveryWear as these are hands free.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a general warning regarding suffocation hazards associated with the use of slings for babies on March 12, 2010, including warning that “…where a sling keeps the infant in a curled position bending the chin toward the chest, the airways can be restricted, limiting the oxygen supply.”. Unlike slings, the EuroTote has a carrying board that was designed for that particular reason. It ensures that baby’s back and neck is supported, and prevents the baby from moving into a curled position.
With all carriers, always review the instructions for use before use. Remember, you should always be cautious when using any baby carrier for babies younger than four months of age. Your baby's face should be visible to you at all times while in the baby carrier, the baby carrier’s fabric should be kept away from your baby's face at all times. Parents of preemies, twins, babies in fragile health and those with low weight should use extra care and consult their pediatricians before using a baby carrier.
How do I convert it to a bunting bag?
