Rated 5 out of 5 by amclaug from Great Addition I love the Lillebaby tummy pad! I love my Lillebaby, but I just couldn't find a way to back carry comfortably. The chest straps raised up too high and felt like they were choking me. I ended up figuring out that I could adjust the straps for a better fit to correct that problem. But I still had straps digging into my belly button. That's when I decided to try the tummy pad. It is great coverage for me and really makes back carrying so comfy! I feel like it totally changes my baby wearing game now! I highly recommend investing in one of these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by guava from A Must Have I bought this because I found the Lillebaby, which I absolutely love for front carrying, pretty uncomfortable for doing a back carry because the waist strap would dig into me. The tummy pad took care of that problem and I can carry my daughter on my back free from discomfort. It's an absolute must have, and if I ever buy a Lillebaby for a friend, I'll be sure to include the tummy pad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mamasam from Comfort! Makes back carries much more comfortable. I'm currently pregnant and can carry my 17 month old with no pain and with no strap cutting into my stomach! Definitely check the size measurements so it's not too long for smaller individuals. I'm plus size and the large tummy pad still goes nearly end to end, which is perfect for me!

How do you know what size pad to get? There isn't a good comparison on size in any pictures.
If you have a LILLEbaby carrier already, you can help determine the size tummy pad to purchase by placing your carrier around your waist like you would for a back carry and measure how much webbing is showing. Between 8-13", you would need a small, between 14-17" a size medium, and anything more than 18", a large would be recommended. If you do not currently own a LILLEbaby, you could cut a string that is 27” long and put it around your waist where you’d wear a carrier. Measure the area that the string doesn’t cover If it is between 8 and 14 inches you would need a small, between 14 and 19” you would need a medium, more than 19” you would need a large. The size small is almost the exact same size as the widest point on a LILLEbaby lumbar support. When in doubt, size down as a size small fits everybody!

Without owning a Lilly baby carrier, how do you find out what size tummy pad you need? I am getting ready to order one and I would like to order this item also at the same time. Thank you.

What's the difference between the medium and small? Width? What are the lengths?
What offers more support while carrying baby on your back, the tummy pad or lumbar support?
if the space is less then 8" will the smallest tummy pad be too long
