COMPLETE Airflow Baby Carrier -Mist is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from So supportive and neutral! I love how comfy this carrier is--the lumbar support really is like nothing else out there! I have tried several other carriers, but really prefer this one. My baby feels so much lighter in this! The mesh is soft and comfy for my little one, and it works for a very wide range of ages and sizes. The hood is nice and big for all ages of babies, too (not the case with a few others I own). This color was a great choice, as my husband will wear it too, and I added cute colorful suckpads and a bib to it to make it more pretty...looks great now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great carrier ! I am so glad I bought this. With a moving baby back pain will happen and this has helped take the weight of my back when wearing/carrying my baby. Love the support and the mesh in this Okinawa heat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't make it your only carrier Lillebaby beats the other brand carriers because of: 1) ability to face out 2) pocket!! 3) ergonomics and back support 4) no need for infant insert However, I would not make this my only carrier, because it truly is totally vented to the elements. Great for a hot climate, but I live in San Francisco and we don't like the wind cutting right through. The other thing is that the fabric isn't that soft and there is a rough edge when it is folded down that my baby's neck or chin get irritated by. I'm going to get a second Lillebaby carrier so we can reserve this one for hot days and hikes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Carrier I borrowed one of these carriers from my local Babywearing group. It is totally awesome! We used it quite a lot in the month that we had it. The only thing I disliked was that the snaps were very difficult to snap/unsnap though this did give me confidence that they are a very strong fastener. My little man didn't care for the hood, but I haven't found one that he will tolerate yet. I didn't want to return it & wish we had one of our own!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I got this carrier last week, it's wonderful, goes with anything, my daughter loves it. Very supportive for myself and my daughter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saves the sweaty baby I've had this for about a year now, and I still find myself relying on it! My son overheats easily and gets very sweaty (I blame his dad for that one) but this carrier helps SO much. He loves going up in it and just yesterday I was kicking myself for forgetting it when we went to the store. It's a lifesaver!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love is a understatement! I originally had bought a different brand because a friend recommended it, but it was uncomfortable from the get-go. I had a lot of pain from labor and breastfeeding and needed something supportive and comfortable. I live in SoCal, so it gets HOT. Someone recommended I try a LÍLLÉbaby instead and I am so thankful to that person. My baby was immediately comfortable and fell asleep right away and I was able to carry her with no pain! She was developing a flat spot and I needed to carry her as much as possible, but with the pain it just didn't seem realistic. Now I can carry her everywhere! We're both cool and comfortable! Love my LÍLLÉbaby Airflow so much and have since recommended it to countless mommy friends. They all love it too! If you're on the fence, go for it. Honestly, you will be so glad you did. Best part? You only need one carrier to take you from infant to toddler and there are so many ways to wear your baby so it's comfortable for everyone as your little one gets bigger!

The 6 in 1 complete airflow, is it suppose to have an adjustable seat? I don't see on mine where I could make it an arrow seat as suggested in the user manual.

Does the Airflow carrier come with the infant insert or do I need to purchase this separately? I noticed under accessories it says "coming soon"? What do I do in the meantime if I need to use it for my newborn?

Asked by: NickiNav
COMPLETE carriers, including the COMPLETE Airflow do not require use of an infant insert, and can be used starting at 7lbs. There are 6 carrying positions, including two that are perfect for the newborn stage.

Another reviewer mentioned not being able to sit with the carrier on - why can't you sit with it on?

Asked by: Kat17
I wear mine at my natural waist (belly button height) and I sit in mine all the time (plus then the weight is on my hips, which feels practically weightless). Maybe that person was wearing it too low (around the hips).

Which Airflow model's sleeping hood is made of mesh and which is made of cotton? Does the mesh block out the sun properly? ie seethrough.

Asked by: Drew
The hoods are not rated for spf protection, and it is suggested to always use your best judgement when using any hood as sun protection for your baby. All COMPLETE Airflow carriers have mesh hoods, with the exception of the COMPLETE Airflow in Champagne which features a cotton hood.

Hello what is the weight limit on these carriers?

Asked by: Jodanne
COMPLETE carriers have a weight range of 7-45lbs and with the adjustable features of the neck support and seat, we find that many children are able to fit comfortably in a COMPLETE until well into the toddler years.

Hello -- Would I feel comfortable nursing in the airflow or does the mesh allow more visibility than I might want? I'm excited to try one of your carriers. Thank you!

Asked by: emann
The mesh on the COMPLETE Airflow is double sided and should offer plenty of privacy for you and your baby while nursing. If you visit this blog post, http://lillebaby.com/blog/lille-lessons-breastfeeding-in-your-carrier/, nursing in a LILLEbaby is demonstrated using a COMPLETE All Seasons in Charcoal and Silver. The center (with the silver) is the same mesh that the entire body of the COMPLETE Airflow is comprised of, and as you can see in the video it offers plenty of coverage without transparency.

Hi, I am considering buying the Lillebaby airflow carrier and I was wondering if it only comes with the mesh hood or if I could buy it with a solid cotton hood?

Asked by: Annacat7
Hi, the only Airflow that will come with a cotton hood is the Complete Airflow in Champagne. If you decide on a different color of Airflow for yourself and would like to purchase a cotton hood separately, you can email us at customerservice@lillebaby.com and we can help!

What are the weight limits on the COMPLETE, the CarryOn and the ESSENTIALS baby carriers?
The COMPLETE does not require an infant insert and is recommended for children 7lbs-45lbs.

The ESSENTIALS can be used from 7 lbs with the required use of the Infant Insert . The Essentials is approved for use without the insert from 15-45 lbs.

What are the differences between the COMPLETE, the CarryOn and the ESSENTIALS?
Please see our Compare Chart for a side by side look at the differences in these carriers.

What are the number of carrying positions I can use on the COMPLETE, the CarryOn and the ESSENTIALS?
The COMPLETE has 6 carry positions: fetal, infant, toddler, hip and back.
The CarryOn has 3 carry positions: toddler, hip and back.
The ESSENTIALS has 4 carry positions: infant (with insert), toddler, hip and back.

I’m having trouble figuring out how to use my COMPLETE carrier, help!
Check our instructional video page which shows how to use the COMPLETE in all positions and settings; http://lillebaby.com/instructional_videos.

What is the difference between the COMPLETE All Seasons and the COMPLETE Airflow?
The major difference between the COMPLETE Airflow and the COMPLETE All Seasons is that the Airflow is all mesh, and the All Seasons features a cotton covering, and a zip away panel that reveals the mesh under so you can control temperatures.

Do I need an infant insert with my COMPLETE carrier?
The LILLEbaby COMPLETE carriers do not require an infant insert. Beginning at 7 lbs you may wear baby in the carrier in either the fetal position with legs inside in the froggy position or legs out in the narrow seat setting. You may use the infant straps for added safety if you wish. We also recommend watching the instructional videos here: http://lillebaby.com/instructional_videos

What is the "scrunch" method? My baby is in between the "wide" and the "narrow" seat, what do I do?
You can achieve a wider support in the narrow seat setting by trying one or more of the following techniques:

1. Position baby further away from belt: Ensure baby has a “deep seat” by positioning baby toward the wider part of the carrier panel rather than close to or on the waistband itself. Achieving this is easiest if your waistband is flat and snug to your waist or hip. Try moving the waist belt higher or lower, maintaining a flat, snug, and level fit, until you find a position that is both comfortable for the wearer and positions baby on the widest part of the seat.

2. Widen seat by loosening seat flaps:

-Leave flaps unbuckled, but folded in underneath baby’s bottom. Pull on each side of the seat to extend the fabric over baby’s thighs to achieve a widened seat.
-Alternatively, leave the flaps hanging loose. This results in a slightly wider seat compared to the flaps folded in and buttoned
-Once baby is in the carrier, reach inside and adjust where baby is sitting by lifting and moving baby’s bottom further away from your belt.
-Always make sure to tighten straps to ensure baby is sitting snug to your body. However, never over tighten – always allow for the natural c-curve of babies spine.
-Note: “Scrunching” the seat flaps on the waist belt to slightly narrow the wide seat setting is not recommended because it can warp the carrier’s waist belt.

What is the difference between the COMPLETE and the CarryOn?
The CarryOn is designed for larger children, as it goes from 20 up to 60 pounds. It has a roomier panel, and more adjustability in the straps to get a good comfortable fit. Children can be worn on the hip, the back or facing in, in 3 positions.

The Complete has a fold down neck support so smaller babies can look out and be worn facing forward. Children can be worn facing in, and out, on the hip an on the back in a variety of ways because the width of the seat adjusts.
The Complete weight range is from 7 pounds at birth to 45 pounds with no need for an infant insert, you cannot use the CarryOn with children under 20 pounds.

Which is more breathable, the COMPLETE Airflow or the COMPLETE Embossed?
The Embossed LILLEbaby carrier is made with a soft, light and highly breathable microfiber fabric often used in sports gear. There is no padding between the layers in the body of the carrier which make it super lightweight and it allows more airflow than most padded cotton carriers, but not more breathable than our Airflow carrier.

Can I use the LILLEbaby COMPLETE waist extender on the ESSENTIALS?
Not at this time.

How does the ESSENTIALS compare to the COMPLETE?
The COMPLETE is a 6-position carrier with a number of unique features. The ESSENTIALS was designed to offer the best solution in the more simplified, traditional soft structured carrier category. It features 4 carrying positions (with the optional infant insert launching in Spring 2016) and includes different features than the COMPLETE

What is the infant safety harness for?
The interior harness strap in the COMPLETE carriers adds the necessary security to allow parents to use a rolled-up blanket of their choice in their carrier without it creating a fall hazard. The harness is not common in SSC in the US, but safety certifications in other countries, like Japan, have started requiring harness straps to reduce the risk of error when using an infant insert or positioning the baby in the carrier. We are proud to be among the first to offer this helpful safety feature.

Do you use a flame retardant on your carriers?
It's Important to LILLEbaby that we make the safest products for children that we can. We test extensively for both voluntary and mandatory standards. Our products contain no lead, toxic dyes, phthalates, flame retardants and are CPSIA compliant and ASTM safety certified. The padding on our shoulder pads is comprised of a non-toxic PE, a material frequently used in baby mattresses. The waist belt is also made of non-toxic PEVA material. Many baby products (bibs etc.) are now using PEVA as it is considered “greener” and safer than PVC etc.
